Dieting...
On February 1, I purposefully set out to really try to loose weight.  I don't have the money to join Weight Watchers, but I am using their philosophy and keeping track of points.  The first two weeks were relatively easy for me, I had big hopes of dropping pounds.. lol  Anyway, after two weeks I lost some inches in places I really would have preferred not to, and only lost 2.5 pounds.  It has made my journey a bit harder now.  I know that it will take time to get back to where I want to be, but I had hopes that the first couple of weeks I'd loose a bit extra.  The first week I didn't drink any pop at all, was eating fresh veggies all through the day and in general was eating so much more healthier than I have in a long time.  I never ate over my points for the day either.  So I am trying to resolve in my mind to be adamant about it again.  To recommit myself to it.  I can see why being able to go to the meetings would be a great big help!  I will not let this defeat me :-)
